Our History
Cardiocentrica was founded in 2012 by certified HeartMath Coach, Gabriel Gonsalves, whose background in leadership development and transformational coaching led to the creation of our Integrated Coherence Framework—a methodology that synthesizes cutting-edge cardiovascular science with universal wisdom principles.
The name “Cardiocentrica” reflects our fundamental philosophy, inspired by Aristotle’s cardiocentric model of human anatomy that places the heart at the center of true intelligence and wisdom. “Educating the mind, without educating the heart” he wrote “is no education at all.”
Our mission emerged from a critical insight: leadership effectiveness begins with coherence at all levels—physiological, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, relational, social, and global—with the heart as the master coordinator of this entire system.
